Rom has currently closed her studio in order to travel and teach workshops.
Workshops run between 2 and 4 hours and include topics such as:
*Beautiful, precise arms and hands
Rom is known for her beautiful hand and arm work, due to years of practice and also Kuchipudi dance (and the amazing
Lakshmi Babu). In this workshop, Rom teaches innovative ways for arm movement for all types of arms--long, short, curvy,
thin--and takes the movement out of the shoulders and into places you never knew existed!
*Eastern European Romani dance
If you're going to learn it, learn it from a Romani!
*How to Choreograph that One Song That Just Irritates You Because You Can't Figure It Out
The title says it all, with innovative techniques and out of the box thinking in order to choreograph that tough song.
*Fast and Furious Drum solos
*Turkish Rom and How It Differs from Eastern Rom
