Rom Deussen Studio was started in the Washington, DC area, moving to
St. George, Utah, in early 2006.

Deussen is Roma born, meaning both her parents are Romani, and while early
on she leaned towards more modern dance, she returned to her ethnic roots
while in college.

Deussen has performed in both the dinner and main stage shows at Rakkasah
West, and performed in many shows in the  DC/Baltimore area and the
Southwest, as well as for private functions.  

Using humor, acceptance, and a strong discipline to the dance in her classes,
Deussen warmly accepts all students regardless of ability, and will make the
necessary accomodations for physical limitations.
